Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the SeeMore iOS app and the website at see-more.app (together, the “Service”), provided by Tobias Morgenstern (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using SeeMore, you agree to these Terms.
The Service
SeeMore provides sunrise and sunset quality forecasts, a compass view, map spots, optional reminders, sky feedback, and status / XP features. Forecasts are estimates based on weather and related data. They are not a guarantee of sky conditions. Always use your own judgment outdoors.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may delete your account in SeeMore Settings.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Community spots & user content
You may add spots, notes, photos, reviews, and sky feedback (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and improve SeeMore (including showing community spots to other users according to status rules).
- Do not post illegal, harmful, harassing, or infringing content.
- Do not spam, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
- Do not misrepresent locations or upload content you do not have rights to.
We may remove User Content or restrict features when we believe it is necessary to protect users or the Service. To report a problem, email hello@see-more.app.
Acceptable use
Use SeeMore only for lawful purposes. Do not reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law, probe other users’ data, or use the Service in a way that harms Apple platforms, third-party APIs, or other users.
Third-party services
SeeMore relies on services such as Supabase (accounts and community data) and weather data providers (for example Open-Meteo). Their terms and availability may affect the Service.
Intellectual property
The SeeMore name, branding, app design, and software (excluding your User Content) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or redistribute them except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Outdoor conditions can change quickly; do not rely on SeeMore as your only source of safety information.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of SeeMore after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
